How I Started My Mail Club

The story is very simple actually. I was seeing a bunch of reels all over my Instagram about something called "snail mail" and well long short short after seeing about 20 of those videos I decided to start my mail club!

It started with me messing around with the logo you see above and several variations for different things. I wanted my snail mail club to be a Christian mail club that was able to combine both my passion for art and my passion for Christ! I eventually settled on the name "The Skyward Post" and I fell in love with it immediately! After that I started working on things like the branding guide, more logos, the official member card, and the actual letter and print themselves all for the welcome letter! It was a process but I love the way they turned out!

I decided to start hosting it on Patreon and offering other services with it but after 2-3 months of basically no activity and the fees for the few that had signed up, I decided that it wasn't worth the hassle. So, I moved over to Shopify! This has enabled me to add more options for my mail club like monthly, semi annually, and annual subscription options that come with discounts! I am also able to add better discounts for things like my winter sale where I offer my snail mail club 100% off to make sure you guy get a lovely treat for the Christmas season!

Doing this mail club has been a challenge, especially trying to add that into my already busy school schedule. But it's also been so worth it! Doing the monthly devotionals for the letters has helped me learn so much about certain topics when it comes to Christianity and my faith. The devotionals take the longest but are my favorite part of the whole letter! So far November Letter with the devotional "Surrendering It All" is my devotional that I've written so far!
